Hello!!!! I haven't blogged in a while, and that's because I've been super busy with wedding season--including my own!!! Cruised the Bahamas for a week with my new wife Stephanie, and it was a blast! We swam with sting-rays, sharks (two of them. And they were wild. I even got a Life-Proof case for my iPhone so that I could take video underwater, so I have proof that I chased after the shark). We cruised on the Carnival Victory btw. As a side note to anyone who's thinking about cruising, I highly recommend it. I've cruised the Bahama before, two of the times I was on the Disney Magic with my family, and I gotta say, Carnival is pretty darn comparable. In my opinion, you're basically spending the extra thousands of dollars simply because Mickey is on board and in person with you (which is pretty cool, but still). Anyways, back to the photography.
Meet Wendy and Chris. I shot them at the place where they got engaged. It was such a beautiful spot. I love the tree that's in the first couple of shots here on the blog. They brought a frickin stuffed Hippo! How awesome is that! We hit it off so well. Chris and I talked theology alot on our first meeting so that was pretty cool. I look forward to their wedding :) It's gonna be sweet. Haven't done a wedding at a church in a while.
Liz & Russ' Wedding
So excited for this post! It's kind of nestalgic when you get to the wedding day and see the couple for the first time in months, after you did their engagement shoot. I guess it's just the same as seeing a friend after a long time of not. The phrase, "Sight for Sore Eyes" comes to mind. Anyway, that's how I felt with Liz and Russ. Also the venue. We did their engagement shoot at The Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, and that's where they got married too.
